Become a Member of SCDFA:

Sonoma County Democracy for America invites you to join us and help put progressive values into action. Membership in SCDFA is open to residents of Sonoma County who support SCDFA's mission. Applicants shall be admitted to membership regardless of ethnicity, gender, national origin, age, religious affiliation, disability, economic status, or sexual orientation.

Your paid membership helps SCDFA implement its mission and continue to sponsor public informational events and training for members. Only paid members in good standing can vote and participate in SCDFA's governance. Being a member of SCDFA adds your voice to those of fellow progressives in the county to be a force for change and accountability.

Membership dues are due on May 1st and payable by May 31st. Annual dues for new members shall be pro-rated on a monthly basis. A new member shall be considered in good standing thirty (30) days after receipt of the membership application and payment of dues, and shall be qualified to vote on all organization business at general membership meetings.

Annual dues are $25.00 for an individual or $40.00 for a household membership (two or more persons residing at the same address). Persons under 21 or over 65 years of age, on disability or unemployed qualify for a reduced membership fee of $15.00. Annual dues may be waived for prospective or existing members who claim a hardship exemption in exchange for five (5) hours of volunteer work supervised by a member of the Steering Committee.
