Hello from the Uncompahgre River

Just a quick hello from Western Colorado. As you can see, I'm having a nice break. This is a photo of a rainbow trout I caught while fly fishing on the Uncompahgre River just before my speech to the Western Colorado Congress (this region's big community organization). Rest assured, the reason I look like Dick Cheney in this picture (ie. fly fishing in a button down shirt) is because I was headed straight to the speech. If I wasn't, you would have seen me in a scrubby t-shirt and a baseball hat.

I've got nothing profound to say, other than that it's helpful for all of us to step outside of the political realm (and actually get OUTSIDE) every now and again, just to clear our minds. After an intense two weeks, I'm finally starting to feel a bit refreshed and recharged.
