The Get Off My Lawn Variety Hour, Part 4

McCain's eagerness to connect with the crowd is coming off as awkward. Even when he is trying to be nice, he is still coming off as mean.

Watching him talk about ridding DC of cronyism is downright delicious, especiall coming from a guy who's entire campaign is run by lobbyists and the ol' boy network. He has more than 25 lobbyists from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac alone. Bold talk from a guy who's campaign manager, Rich Davis, has received more than $2 million via his firm for access to John McCain.

Obama addresses real parts of his economic plan. He is stumbling a bit as he gets back to hitting McCain on deregulation, but then fires up for a couple of hard jabs on deregulation. He continues to turn and face John McCain directly when he talks about him.  Will McCain give Obama the same respect?
