9:35  Obama wants to use a budget "scalpel" so that we still help the people who need it, and don't help the people who don't.  (Eli)

9:34  Obama now linking individual sacrifice with the principle of fairness and tax cuts for the rich.  (Scarecrow)

9:33  Someone said this week that Obama likes to model himself on JFK, not on FDR.  That seems to be showing through, on policy and on the last comment about the peace corps and youth.  I think we need an FDR.  (Pach)
